Being in nature feels like coming home in myself.

My series 'Sunscapes', 'Moonscapes' and 'Emptiness and desire', made in nature, involve picturesque, abstract photographs, for which I use my camera as a paintbrush.

​The images are the result of a long, creative process in which I play with rhythm and pace, slowing down and accelerating, shapes, colours and different athmospheres, looking for harmony and contrast.

​Focus and one single relaxed exhalation are needed to create smooth and energetic lines.

Creating these images feels like a dance, physically and mentally; an interplay between my inner world and the world around me. Everything I touch in one movement flows together into one image.

​Many works were made close to home, some further away, such as in the mountains and forests of Swedish Lapland.

I do not manipulate the images other than a basic finish in Photoshop. Everything in the picture was captured on camera, in a single image.
